Are you on a path of exploring your personal gender and sexual identities? Are you experiencing chronic stress due to overt or microaggressions relating to your racial, ethnic, religious, gender, or sexual identities? Are you a person who struggles with the marginalization within mainstream culture? Are you treated like a child because of a disability? Are you told you are “too much” or “not enough” to be accepted by a group?
We are a group of affirming therapists that can help you understand and explore your intersectional identities. We will support you on your path toward self-knowledge and acceptance, empowerment, and the pursuance of effective self-advocacy. Our commitment toward equity and social justice is an integral part of who we are. Outside of the office, our therapists advocate for and within groups at local, state, national, and global levels. Some of our favorites include (but are not limited to) Equality Arizona, National Center for Lesbian Rights, The Gender Affirming Letter Access Project, Sex Workers Outreach Project, National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance, National Coalition for Sexual Freedom, and Access Reproductive Justice.
